What is myLot?

myLot is a unique and fun online community filled with members from all over the world discussing topics of everyday life. myLot is a place where members can discuss whatever is on their mind. Whether you want to discuss sports, ask a question on how to find a job, get advice on dating, or just want to talk about what is bothering you, myLot is here for you!

Our Objectives

myLot’s objective is to offer members a place to interact with others and to discuss the many different topics of everyday life in a self-regulated network. When you need an answer to a question, advice from an un-biased source, or just someone to talk to, myLot members are here to help you in a friendly way.

myLot has many outstanding features. The following are just a few:
We disclose only the member’s username and country in which the member currently lives in. We do not disclose any of the member’s personal information; allowing members to remain anonymous to all other users.
We provide each member with myLot Mail; giving the member an opportunity to discuss topics privately with members of their choice. (coming soon!)
Anyone has the ability to read a discussion, but only members can post a new discussion or respond to an existing discussion. This allows myLot to help maintain a controlled and safe environment.
Members have the option to participate in the control and monitoring of what topics are discussed through the abuse reporting system.

How Do I Use myLot?

You must register as a member. Click here to create a myLot account.
Once you have registered and become a member of myLot, you can start a new discussion or respond to any existing discussion.

How Do I Start A Discussion?

To start a discussion, go to the myLot homepage.
Enter the topic or subject of your discussion in the “What’s on your mind?” box.
Enter the details of your discussion in the box below. Be sure to include all pertinent information to help others understand your topic. Pertinent information may include your country and state, specific name of item describing, and make and model information.
Click “Start Discussion.”
Once your discussion is posted, other users will be able to view your discussion and reply to you with their answers, advice, opinions and comments. If upon registration you selected to be notified to new responses an email will be sent to you once a new response has been posted.

How Do I Respond To A Discussion?

To reply to other members discussions, click on “respond to this discussion.”
Enter your response, and click “submit.”
You can also comment on any user’s response by clicking on “add comment.”
Enter your comment in the box.
Click “submit.”

We have implemented a system to give everyone who uses the internet the ability to make money. The idea is pretty simple - if you contribute to the myLot Community - whether it is by posting a new discussion, responding to a current discussion, commenting on a current discussion, or referring friends, you earn money. Our goal is to provide internet users a place to earn money using the web on a day to day basis and provide access to information they need.
